Now predicting the NBA Finals is unoriginal and overplayed so I will uber predict the Finals, game by game, with exactly what will happen and bore you, the reader, to death. Enjoy!
- Game One. Miami 102 OKC 94. The Thunder come out strong and build a double-digit lead by midway through the 2nd quarter, but Lebron and the Heat storm back in the 2nd half with excellent defense due to some well timed adjustments by Eric Spoelstra. Game One player of the game will be Chris Bosh with 19pts 8reb and 3blks in a gutsy performance.
- Game Two. Miami 102 OKC 107 (OT). The Thunder lead the entire second half until Chalmers hits a three with 42 seconds remaining to tie it up and take into overtime. OKC scores the last 7 points in overtime and even the series at one a piece. Game Two player of the game will be Russel Westbrook with 24pts 11ast 4stls with just two turnovers.
- Game Three. OKC 89 Miami 86. Game Three LeBron passes on the final possession and Wade fails to get the shot off in time. Game three will be a back in forth game with neither team getting more than a 6 point lead. Serge Ibaka comes up big in the 4th with 6pts and 2blks in the final 3 minutes, but player of the game goes to Durant with 29pts 7reb and 4ast.
- Game Four. OKC 84 Miami 98. Game four is Miami's best performance of the series. With the score tied after the first half, LeBron shows why he is the MVP with a stellar 2nd half. LeBron scores 24 of his 38 points in the 2nd half and his excellent defense holds Durant to only 17 points for the game. Wade also come up big with clutch shots down the stretch to keep the Thunder from coming back. LeBron get a triple double and is the player of the game with 38pts 14reb and 10ast.
- Game Five. Miami 98 OKC 99. As Game Five shifts back to Oklahoma City, the Thunder come up big in the 4th quarter with a 12-2 run and take the pivotal Game Five. Unlike Game Three, Game Five is a game of runs with both teams having big leads throughout. LeBron, Wade, Durant, and Westbrook all come up big in the moment with a spectacular game. Game Five player of the game is Durant once again with 25pts 9reb and 3blks.
- Game Six. OKC 104 Miami 108. With their season on the line Miami finds a way to pull it out. This will be the dreaded "bad calls game" that will get the kooky NBA conspiracy theorists out in full effect. With the game close and under 2 minutes remaining, Durant drives to the hoop and makes a unbelievable layup while getting fouled by Bosh. But the officials see it the other way and call a charge. Then as Durant throws his arms up in disbelief the official T's him up. Miami knocks down the free throw and on the following possession Battier hits the clutch three and the Heat never look back. Game Six player of the game, the officials of course.
- Game Seven. The most exciting event in sports is a Game Seven and this game is no different. A highly emotional, highly contested, fierce game to decide the 2012 NBA Championship. This game will be the best game seven in recent NBA history. The first quarter, both teams play sloppy and shoot miserably from the floor. As the second quarter get underway, Miami gains confidence and out-scores the Thunder to take a 9 point lead at the half. OKC opens the second half on a 10-1 run to pull even with Heat and eventually take a 4 point lead into the fourth quarter. The fourth will be a offensive struggle for both teams with the game winner with 22 seconds remaining hit by LeBron James. Miami 97 OKC 95. Player of the game and Finals MVP LeBron James.
